Kingdom of Delirium

Aithusa buries her face into her lap and sobs about leaving her family, ignoring her issues, making excuses for her to escape, and coming to terms about actions and parasocial relationships. Aithusa lifts her head up and finds herself in a field of flowers, however these flowers have faces and are about thirty feet high. She stays where she is and looks around and sees a Fox in a three piece suit, monocle, and top hat. The Fox walks over to her and hands her a handkerchief. The fox whispers to her, “Sorrows my lady for we have met in an unusual circumstance. For you see I am in need of white roses however the others have painted them red. Would you know where I can find a rare white rose glowing in the light?”

Aithusa shakes her and places her head on her knees. The fox sits next to her and tells her to explore this world one foot in front of the other. That’s what has always helped the fox and maybe a bit of fresh air, beautiful landscapes, and friendly face will help. Aithusa stands up and walks around a bit until her feet get tired. She sits atop a sturdy vine and looks out in hopes of one day finding some sort of light.
